You should be aware that any rectification may take a minimum period of one month, but under special circumstances we may extend this period to two months, in which case we will inform you of the extension. Furthermore, if we do not comply with your request for rectification or do not respond to you, or if we cannot reach an agreement regarding the rectification period, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing and to seek judicial remedy.

Right to erasure of data or the “Right to be forgotten” – this is your right to obtain from us the deletion of your personal data from the website without undue delay, and we, as data controllers, are obliged to comply with the request where one of the following grounds applies:

  • the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
  • you withdraw the consent on which the processing is based;
  • when you object to the processing of your data;
  • when there are doubts regarding the lawfulness of the processing of personal data;
  • if a legal obligation arises which we must comply with as data controllers;
  • if the personal data belong to children under the age of 16 and the parents or persons exercising parental rights withdraw the consent previously given.

For our part, depending on the technology available and the cost of implementation, we will take reasonable measures, including technical measures, to inform all processors who have had access to the personal data that you have requested their deletion, including copies or links referring to the respective data.

The situations in which we are NOT obliged to comply with your request to delete personal data are:

  • the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information;
  • compliance with a legal obligation;
  • reasons of public interest in the field of public health;
  • archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes, or statistical purposes;
  • the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims in court.

Right to restriction of access to personal data – refers to one of the following situations:

  • Rectification of incorrect or inaccurate data: you may request that access to such data be restricted for the period necessary to verify and rectify the data;
  • if you discover that the processing is unlawful, but you do not wish to have the personal data deleted, instead requesting that their use be restricted;
  • if our organization no longer needs the personal data or the storage period has expired, but you wish us to retain them in order to use them in legal proceedings;
  • if you object to the processing, you may request restriction of access to your personal data for as long as we verify whether our legitimate rights as data controllers override your right to object to the processing. Furthermore, if the restriction on processing is lifted, we will inform you in due time.

Right to object to processing – applies only to the specific situations or cases in which you are involved; it is your right to request that we do not process your data for the purpose of profiling. Requests submitted at intervals of more than 60 days are free of charge.

Requests submitted within a period of between 30 and 59 days from the previous request are subject to a reasonable fee representing processing costs, calculated in relation to the time allocated by the DPO to resolving the request.

Requests submitted at intervals of less than 30 days may be rejected if they are unfounded or abusive, particularly due to their repetitive nature.

In all situations, if we have doubts regarding the identity of the applicant, we may request additional information to confirm their identity.
